Switching managers

Switch holiday rental manager without losing bookings

If your current manager is not working out, switching is simpler than it looks. We read your contract, honour every confirmed booking, and your home keeps letting while we handle the handover.

Before you give notice

  1. 1

    Notice period

Check how many days' notice your contract requires and whether leaving early carries a penalty. We will read it with you.

  2. 2

    Who owns the listings

Check whose account the Airbnb and Booking listings sit under. That decides how your review history carries over.

  3. 3

    Who operates the licence

Under Decreto 31/2024, whoever manages a tourist home in Andalusia is recorded as its operator in the Tourism Register, and a change of operator is notified to the Register. We check who is recorded in your case.

  4. 4

    Future bookings

List every confirmed booking. All of them are honoured: no guest loses a stay because you switched.

  5. 5

    Keys, inventory and utilities

Who holds copies, what is in the home, and whose name the electricity, water and internet are in.

Coming from another manager?

That is the usual case. We handle the handover: we read your current contract and its notice period, migrate the listings without losing your review history, honour every booking already confirmed, and coordinate the key handover. You cancel nothing until the new setup is ready.

Hold a licence but the home sits empty?

Since 23 August 2025 Málaga city has suspended new tourist homes across the whole municipality. If you already hold one and are not using it, you own something that cannot currently be replaced. We can put it to work without you having to handle any of it.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose my listing's reviews if I switch?

It depends whose account the listing sits under. We check your case before anyone is notified and migrate the listings aiming to keep your review history.

What happens to bookings already confirmed?

Every one is honoured. We agree with your current manager who looks after which stays during the handover, so no guest notices the change.

How long does switching take?

Ten to fourteen days from the first call to have photos, listings, pricing and the licence reviewed. The real calendar depends on your current contract's notice period.

Does anything change with the VUT licence?

The licence stays with the home. What can change is who is recorded as operator in the Andalusian Tourism Register; if that is your current manager, the change is notified to the Register.

Is there a minimum term with Casa del Sol?

No. If you want to stop, tell us and we honour bookings already confirmed.
